This is the only contact method for the site. Email is read and answered by a person, so please allow a few days for a reply.
What to include
A message is much easier to act on when it includes:
- Which calculator you were using.
- The exact values you entered — deck size, board size, gap, waste, and any other inputs.
- The result you got, and the result you expected.
What we cannot help with
We cannot review deck designs, size framing members, check spans or load capacity, or advise on permits and code compliance. Those are decisions for a licensed contractor, engineer, or your local building department, and the calculators on this site do not attempt them — every result is a material quantity estimate only.
Before you write
Many questions are already answered on the tool pages themselves. Each one shows its formula and a worked example, and the about page explains the scope of the tools. The terms and privacy policy cover use of the site and how data is handled.
