The short version

Information you enter into the calculators

Deck dimensions, board sizes, spacing, waste percentages, prices, and any other values you enter are processed locally in your web browser using JavaScript. They are not sent to a server, not written to a database, and not saved between visits. Closing or reloading the page discards them.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, the hosting provider that serves these pages may record standard technical request information in server logs, such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and understanding aggregate traffic levels. Log retention is governed by the hosting provider.

Cookies

The site itself does not currently set cookies, and does not use browser local storage to track you across visits.

If advertising or analytics services are added in future, those third parties may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies will not prevent the calculators from working, because they do not rely on them.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience planning construction projects and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the calculators do not collect or store personal information, there is generally no personal data held about you to access, correct, or delete. Where applicable law such as the GDPR or CCPA gives you rights over personal information, and where any such information exists (for example, an email you sent), you may contact the site to ask about access or deletion. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but because the calculators transmit and store no user data, the exposure from using them is minimal.
